After moving from UK to New Orleans in 1970, I have been lucky enough to play with the finest musicians around. Many became lasting friends. My own band regularly played at the Maple Leaf throughout the seventies, one of the few old-time dance halls still using the older New Orleans jazz musicians and we became legendary around town and across rural Louisiana. By the eighties we were the house band on the Creole Queen steamboat and the busiest band in town, keeping audiences happy with tunes like these. And I've many more like this...
